Maybe worth a squad place but think he's too slow now.

He never had any pace to lose. Seem to remember him giving an interview saying the exact same thing.

Would be a threat from set pieces (something we are lacking) and his positioning is better than Ward.

Think his time has come and gone. But for a one off game in the absence of Wilson I would probably prefer Harte over Ward

In any other circumstances - absolutely not
As an alternative to Stephen ward - absolutely

Aidan White should also be in instead of ward, as should Danny Lafferty, killer kilbane, Dennis irwin, jim beglin.

Nah wouldn't be keen on it.

I know he is playing decent enough ball at the moment but I'd kinda get the sense of a bitta desperation to be calling him back in.

bitta desperation????? but we are desperate.. I was thinking of Harte watching MOTD tonight and last week,he has been great and seems quite focal in what they do, set-pieces moving down the wings etc....but  its a step backwards, cant see it happening.

If you could graft Hartes head and feet onto Aidens body you would have some player, Trapattoni's monster!! LOLClap

He delivered some deadly free kicks today, nearly got another assist with one earlier
the balls he puts in are just begging to be headed in, whipped in with pace over the defence,
only need a touch to put them in the back of the net.

I have always believed in having options in a squad. I think Delap should have had many more call-ups for his fitness as well as the obvious. I think a player like Hoolahan always deserves a place on the bench as he offers something different to what we usually play. Likewise I feel Harte should be in the squad for his set pieces, something we depend on yet still make a mess of so many. If you need a goal with twenty minutes to go and are pressing, Harte is an ideal left back to have on.Unfortunately I believe the ship has sailed.

I would have Aidan White in ahead of Ward and Joey O'Brien in ahead of McShane.

I have to say I don't think Harte has the legs for international football, especially with the constant running and tracking.

No,

We have Greg Cunningham as cover for Ward.

He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

If hes up to it by all means (Brian McDermott ) thinks so Wink get him back on board even if its just for the rest of the qualifiers ,because with Steven Ward we are in trouble !
In Martin and Roy we Trust !
