They're nowhere near as good as the earlier series.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Didn't think the ending to season 10 was great, but really enjoyed the series as a whole.

He was good alright but it was only funny in bits and pieces.

Richard Lewis's pretentious art exhibition was funny but Larry was just deliberately being ott and looking for fights non-stop. The Fatwa storyline and the Judge Judy appearance was cxxtish stuff altogether. Dead

BUMP

On the 6th episode of season 9 and it's fookin rubbish. Dead

The thoroughly unfunny 'Fatwa' storyline and the part where he meets the Muslim leaders who are deciding his fate is woeful stuff.

They're bringing out a 10th series.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

One episode in and it's fookin rubbish. Way ott. Will watch another few to see if it improves.

The hooker in the second episode is class Heart

It get's better. The first 3 or 4 episodes are fairly mediocre. Then there's maybe 3 very good episodes, after that the standard goes down a little again. It's not vintage curb, but it's definitely worth watching and still better than most other things out there.

Any stand out episodes that I should watch first before I start from the beginning

Seinfeld is class,I would have Curb ahead of it but only just.
The character George is based on Larry David.
The two shows are very similar but curb is a bit less silly and a bit more controversial.
If you like one you'll defo like the other.
I would say start with season 1 episode 1 and take it from there. That way you can see the characters develop at the pace it was intended and get the full benefit of it.Both shows would be easily in my fav top ten comedies (and i watch way too much telly!)
If you want to start with one of the classics try"The Soup Nazi" based on a true character in NY as well.

My 2 favourite Seinfeld episodes both heavily involve Frank. The Serenity Now is my favourite. A very close second would be the Strike, better known for Festivus.

Seinfeld is funnier in my opinion but Curb is still hilarious.
