"What do ye reckon about wednesday john" says elderly fan
"Well were not playing well but neither are they,so ye know" says John Delaney
Actual conversation between elderly fan and john delaney prior to team taking bus out of raddison hotel on sunday..
PS pints in the raddisson in bratislava were the nicest in that sh*thole

I completely agree with you kieran about supporting the boys on the field for the next three games cause it is inconceivable to finish Fooourth!! but we defo need some kind of protest..I think we should set up a YBIG supporters club ??any takers..we can voice our opinions in person away from prying eyes and organise legit. protests against the FAI..

Any protest needs to be properly targeted so as not to deflect the team away from the business on the pitch.

the easiest one i heard(think in this thread) is for everyone to wear a black top instead of the eircom top!doesnt cost a lot or take much work.

The problem is of the 80,000 people in Croker, how many will protest?
There probably wouldn't be enough to make it noticeable.

why is everyone so bothered about not doing a protest in the stadium!!! of course we should! thats where things are seen and heard. Wot kind of effect does a protest get if noone sees or hears it? The majority of players would rather the summer off than go play 3 games in a tournament and then have to go home after winning none of the games!
Black hankies Wave em like the spanish do! simple, effective and "wont distract the players"

yeah and an awful lot of those 80000 supporters are your typical home fans muppets (the lads that tell ye to sit down when the "stand up for the boys in green" song comes on) however somethin' has to be done. dont think the black tops will do as the majority of ppl wont know about it and therefore it mightnt be noticeable enough. Even some banners or chant might do the trick along with some sort of pre match protest maybe

A large Banner saying Give it Up Delaney, or Delaney Out, or Where's the Progress John?.........And maybe a chant, We Want Delaney Out (Ooh aah Paul McGrath chant), t-shirts won't work and too many fair day muppets attending who wouldn't know Ronnie Delaney from John Delaney.........

Fair weather fans can feck off if they want to watch the match without anyone swearing or standing up then they should stay at bloody home and if a protest does happen and they don't like it tough sh*te.

I also think the time has come to get rid of the Delaney/Staunton farce. Black Flags all around the stadium and a large banner with Delaney/Staunton out would get the message out. These could be produced as soon as the National Anthems have finished when the cameras are panning the crowd.

A big banner saying "Delaney Out" or "What Progress John?" or something like that, it'll show the players we're still behind them but that we don't wanna have anything to do with his sh*te anymore. Unfurl it on the Hill 16 end (if someone was able to make it, I'd be happy to bring it in on my person as I've only a Hill ticket for the Cyprus game.........)
