I only wish he had signed for us when we were interested in him. Ouch

Some serious advantages to having baines in your team

Apart from a quality left back youre getting top notch penalties and free kicks

He is gonna be hot property in the summer
It took City 44 years to win the league and 10 months to lose it

Tends to get caught going forward- was on a couple of occasions even last night when he was man of the match- positionally ropey for the ciise goal too

Going forward he is quality though- very important to have good attacking wing backs in todays game

It would be great from an Irish point of view if they could hold onto their best players, challenge for 4th (although can't see them getting it) and Coleman and Gibson to be part of their first team.

Also rumours going around that Robbie Brady could be going there on loan.

Can't see Baines going anywhere, certainly not in January.

Reckon if Brady went to Everton it would be for cover as a winger. Probably better off at Hull where he'd get more game time, but obviously a decent run at Everton would be better for his career.

Duffy may get a run tonite versus the mighty Cheltenham town. Barkley also perhaps. I expect and strong side and a resounding victory but then again this is Everton
