They reported it as unprovoked- if they were exchanging words Barkeley would be more defensive - they look like they are just chatting normally. Liverpool fan that thought it would be great to deck him??

Did anyone see the nightclub video where Barkley got a couple of digs?
Very difficult to get an understanding on it without knowing who said what.
Looks to me like whatever was said, Barkley then "brushed" his hands/fingers off the other guys collar and chest and then did it again on the guys chin.
Sky News say Barkley was punched in an unprovoked attack.
Looks to me like Barkley was winding the other guy up.
Imagine some randomer "brushed" you like that in a club.
Some people will over react with punches.
Of course the sensible thing to do is to walk away, but in a nightclub with probably drink taken, that's easier said than done.

I'm not sure how they can claim it was an 'unprovoked' attack without being privy to whatever conversation was being had. I'd imagine Barkley was winding yer man up a bit and he just snapped. Happens regularly enough across most major cities in the world every Friday night.

I read some of the quotes from the piece, what a horrible **** McKenzie is and timing was deliberate. That said Barkley is white so this mixed race is totally ott. What has he 5% cause his Grandad was black.
