There had been questions of his mental capacity from the likes of Rob McCracken before, and even Adam Booth IIRC. Booth wasn't long throwing in the towel so must have been confident that Kelly didn't have it in him to come back.

It's been great to see Hearn's stable being humbled lately. Hopefully Whyte is next again.

Should have been humbled, even further, last week when Kiko Martinez was robbed!

Kelly was very poor, these young British boxers coming having achieved nothing acting like Muhammad Ali Dead delighted it was stopped.

I think Whyte will win the rematch purely because Povetkin spent a few months in hospital with the ‘rona so it’s bound to have a physical effect on him

Didn't realise Povetkin had it, be interesting to see if it has any effects.

Why's it being held in Gibraltar?

Seems like a random place for it.

Possibility of maybe having a few fans and also no need for Whyte to quarantine after moving from his training base in Portugal.

Canelo v BJS confirmed for May 8th after last night's pointless affair.

It wasn't a bout, it just a man smacking another man who hadn't fought for 2 years for 9 minutes.

Fury vs. Joshua confirmed.
Been looking back at Fury vs. Wilder and I have two big fears for Fury.
1. Does he still have the hunger?
2. Wilder was so bad in both fights, especially the second.

I know Joshua has his weaknesses too but he has some big strengths.  I think if Fury is fully at top of his game then I think he will do it. But if not then think Joshua might have advantage.
Have a strong feeling the two fights will end up 1-1

It’s not even a contest imo. Fury is so superior technically they’re not even in the same league. Added that he has a massive reach advantage it’ll be x2 rounds of Fury jabbing his face off, similar to how he beat Klitchsko so don’t expect any spectacles

There must be absolutely no talent at Cruiserweight at the moment if Okolie is a world champion!

Didn't the dominant cruiserweight champ move to heavyweight? So there's at least one top class cruiser he's just not competing there atm. I always feel like this is the forgotten division.

Yeah it really is. You could be undisputed champion but no one really takes it like that big of an accomplishment. But I suppose it depends of the competition.
Welterweight was the hottest division in the world when mayweather and manny pac and others were battling it out having not been really so popular in the past. But suppose the temptation is always there to go up to heavyweight which is the cream of the crop.

Doesn’t help that there are multiple championship belts at every weight.
I’m liking some of the noise about time to go back to one championship belt per weight division. Would be near impossible because nobody wants to lose their spot or living within the separate organisations.
But if one of the organisations or a new one was to UFC model of making it the main organisation with the most eye balls that everyone wanted to see and be part of then that could make each weight class and it’s champions the main champ.

Too much money for the top promotors and tv companies to break away from the current model though you would think. Someone probably get a bullet in the head if they tried to tie up the market with ufc model

He's a huge price to win considering Tszyu has basically boxed nobody of note outside of Jeff Horn.

Yeah and Horn can be very hot and cold. Hogan definitely beat Jaime Munguia in my opinion and was ripped off badly with that decision. Charlo beat him pretty handy though so interested to see how he goes today.

Didn't realise there was another undercard fight before it.
