Its acne alright but he didn't have it when he came on the scene first, it wasn't there or at least not like it is now.
Whatever that illness he had about 18 months ago seems to have made it worse or some medication he is on is contributing to it . Ref/Doc then us a favour tonight stopping the fight, it was total crap.Terrible crowd there as well, place looked less than quarter full. |

Khan vs Canelo tonight.
Dare say this is where Khan's career ends but fair play if he comes through tonight, GGG wants to fight the winner.

Crolla finishes him with a body shot in the 7th.
Barroso absolutely f**ked. Once he didn't ko him in the first half of the fight it was game over

Jason Quigley on the Canelo Khan undercard now. Being shown on hbo boxings YouTube channel or on golden boy boxings Facebook page. 4 rounds in, doing good so far.

Makes no odds if Khan loses. He drops back down the weights and doesn't really harm his future prospects. Can just say the jump up to the catch weight was too much and if he wins he obviously can make a few huge fights. Either way the winner tonight will avoid GGG.Canelo was going to give up a belt to avoid him before. |

Impressive from Quigley. Looked to fatigue a bit in the last couple of rounds but boxed really well.

Some good moments in the fight from him, looked absolutely shattered from the 5th round on but it's his 1st 10 rounder so will improve on that. Would like to see him go to the body a lot more, he was hurting him anytime he did. Great experience in his corner with Miguel Diaz so he'll learn a lot from him.
De la Rosa was meant to be fighting Lemieux so it's a big enough scalp for Quigley at this stage in his career, he was 23-3 before tonight. |

De la Hoya's cousin fighting now, looks very impressive, although the fella he's against isn't up to much. Very quick, good left, and has good power/variation with the right hand unlike his cousin.

I've stayed up for this, sitting on the fence (although id prefer Amir to win, I cant pick a winner). If Amir leaves himself open to any kind of big punch it'l; be another lose also we've no idea how he'll cope up the weight on the other hand if he ducks and dives his speed could be uncontrollable.
Khan would have the balls to take up a Glolovkin fight thats for sure, not sure Alvarez would right this second although he did take on Mayweather previously. Khan is wearing 8 ounce gloves? First Round - Khan took a big left and took it very well, mentality will be a big boast and his speed is causing problems! This could be a good fight. Go wan Amir. Left himself open and bang - KO. FairPlay to Alvarez when he knocked him out he dropped straight down to see how khan was.

Brutal KO. not many would have taken that.
What really concerned me about this fight was how one side the judges scorecards were against khan. the standard of officiating is terrible. |

Ouch. Khan was brave enough to take the fight I suppose, the $$$ in his pocket helps too. But was always going to tough to get through that fight. He's been stopped and staggered in lower weight classes when he has fought at elite level so don't know how he could have expected to do it up at the middleweight zone.

Fight went as expected no way was Khan lasting 12 rounds and he hadn't a hope of hurting Canelo.
Enjoyable fight and thought Khan did well for the first 3 rounds. As I said earlier the fight will do Khan no harm he will drop back down and still contest decent fights. Canelo and GGG fight better be made ,it could be a classic. |

2 completely different fights for Canelo physically and financially. With Mayweather, it was his biggest pay day, Mayweather was stepping up, and Mayweather is nowhere near the concussive puncher GGG is. With GGG, Canelo is the cash cow, he's stepping up to MW (although he's a huge LMW anyway), and there's GGG's KO power. I actually think Canelo's boxing ability has improved hugely over the last 2 years so I think his counter punching ability and speed will give GGG problems, as he does leave himself open. Even a year ago, I would have said GGG would beat him, but now I'm not so sure. Nothing left for Canelo but to fight GGG, but don't expect it to happen until this time next year.

Not the first time that's happened. Ridiculous scoring in the Cotto Canelo fight last year too.
