Thought he played well myself. He protected the back four, recycled the ball and kept the play moving well. He's playing in the holding role so I think he did what was asked of him quite well.

Was impressed with Hourihane, he kept things ticking over Bar one or two stray passes late on he was good

Good post. Thought he went for the lateral pass a bit too much when a better one was on tbh. McGinn looked more likely to create something. Took his penalty very well..

McGinn is class. His style is a bit of a throwback too, an all action midfielder.

It would be a great final and we wouldn’t have to listen to the Lampard circus. All things being equal I would want Villa to go up, but their sh*thousery after ‘that’ goal, not to mention Bielsa, make it a tighter call!
