Preston North End v Crystal Palace; 
Watford v Bradford City; 
Swansea City v Barnsley; 
Yeovil v West Bromwich Albion; 
Coventry City v Birmingham City; 
West Ham United v Crewe Alexandra; 
Doncaster Rovers v Hull City; 
Carlisle United v Ipswich Town; 
Reading v Peterborough United; 
Sheffield Wednesday v Fulham; 
Leicester City v Burton Albion; 
Burnley v Plymouth; 
Queens Park Rangers v Walsall; 
Stevenage v Southampton; 
Nottingham Forest v Wigan Athletic; 
Stoke City v Swindon Town; 
Aston Villa v Tranmere Rovers; 
Crawley Town v Bolton Wanderers; 
Gillingham v Middlesbrough;

None of the exact dates will be announced until Sky set their televised fixtures but all games will be played on the 28th or 29th of August.

most of the London EPL teams are 40 quid plus, only Fulham retain a sense of decency, although that may have changed too. Wet Spam have ads in the papers trying to flog tickets from 39 quid!!

Why were some PL teams such as Everton and Stoke playing the 2nd round while the vast majority will play their first game in round three?

Teams in European competitions don't enter until round 3 so it doesn't interfere with qualifying ties
