Would agree to an extent. The chat show format was very good in parts, but too unrealistic generally. I'm Alan Partridge was the best ever.

Good solid end to the series. The final third, sleep therapy/ breathalyzer sections being the strongest as with so many of the episodes. The episode suffered from Simon filling in for Jenny after the first 5 minutes. I'd be surprised if the Simon character makes the next series no matter where it's set. The most memorable moments made it the best thing on BBC for a while.

I haven't watched the last two episodes yet as I lost a lot of enthusiasm for it in the fourth episode, I will watch them but the excitement left in that episode, but in comedy terms at least, 'Fleabag' has been the best thing on BBC in a while.

It wasn't the best series tbh. However, I'll give it another view as it can often be better the second time

The fifth one was great, especially the Portillo parody. Last one wasn’t up to much though.

"Now here's a guy who's got a mouth like a snare and a voice like a cat trapped in one.......It's Shane McGowan and the Pogues"
One of the song intros he does on Mid Morning Matters. Never heard this one before

Don't think the new season of this time is great so far but just watching the third episode and I'm in absolute agony laughing at his tattoo query with the SAS soldier he's interviewing. A.P.: Is that Gerry Adams? SAS soldier: It's Jesus! Edited by irishmufc - 22 May 2021 at 10:53pm |

That sounds brilliant, I wonder will he change much of his material for an Irish show, his synopsis seemed to be very stylised towards the UK Market

One of his best was the one where he sang "The Men Behind The Wire" and "Come Out You Black And Tans." He does have Irish heritage as well as a superbly anarchic humour.
