Well said AM.  I wouldnt mind but the two Gleeson lads are good actors.  You would wonder how some of this stuff gets made.  Are people afraid to call it out as they are getting paid
Maybe the initial scripts read well and they went along with it? Given their recent work, I would be surprised if either needed the money from a C4 television production. Maybe it was filmed in lockdown and was a handy earner.

they have no excuse as they wrote it.  If that was submitted in a community hall creative writing class you would bin it.

Its Amazon Prime in the States and C4 in the UK so money behind it.   It's just that its sh*t.

I didn't realise that. They should have stuck to the acting then.

Mother of God that was so fecking tense and thrilling. Best show on TV for me at the minute.
Could sense with 20 minutes to go that I'm not going to be able to wait until next week as I knew the cliffhanger was coming!

Had to laugh at Dion Dublin saying football is a working class game. Has he seen some of the tickets prices to these clubs

LOLEmbarrassed

It definitely peaked in the first episode, 2nd episode wasn't too bad, after that it entered Mrs Brown's Boys territory it was so bad, not even Brendan Gleeson and Ned Dennehy could save the last episode!

I've watched seasons 1 and 2 of Fargo and both were very good. I'd probably give Season 1 a 9 and Season 2 an 8.

The protagonists were better in 2 but the antagonists not as good this go around.

Thought the Martin Freeman narration was a questionable bit of self-indulgence and one big moment in the penultimate episode looked like it belonged in an episode of The X-Files. The plot armor some characters have does get a bit silly at times but, in fairness, nothing any more daft than the one moment in S1 when SPOILER Lorne Malvo single-handedly killed a criminal enterprise right under the nose of a couple of FBI agents. On that note, they don't half love making every cop character apart from the protagonists utterly witless.

Still, nitpicking complaints on my part. Hugely recommend.

Can't wait to see how Season 3 measures up.

Love all the references to Coen Brothers movies BTW. It's named after Fargo but there's a lot more of No Country for Old Men in it IMO.

Watched Fargo a few years ago.  Really enjoyed season 1.as
Well as the others.

Watching Derek on Netflix. Bit like Afterlife in how can be sad at times and hilarious a few seconds later.

just finished National Treasure last night. It’s on the 4player and it’s a 4 parter with Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters.  Very well shot and directed and brilliant acting by the the two main actors.  Highly recommend it.

Never watched Fargo but definitely on the list, question do you need to watch the movie first?

No, the stories aren't related. The film is genius though, I would recommend everyone should watch it. Also, if you enjoy the humour of the film you will enjoy the series. It is probably easier to commit to a film than a series first.

Just finished watching quicksand on Netflix. It starts off during a school shooting in Sweden and flashes back during court scenes to show what happened. I quite enjoyed it although some of the characters were extremely annoying.

Watched Last Breath on Netflix the other night too about saturation divers in the north sea and an accident. Talk about a weird job and even weirder fellas. Definitely recommend watching this.

So I've discovered why series 4 of "Below Deck : Mediterranean" isn't airing straight away after the previous 3 were.

Turns out that the new Russian chef is a disgusting homophobic piece of sh'''t haha
Tbh I can't wait to see what happens when they find out Captain Sandy is a lesbian.
This was filmed a few years ago, I'm assuming this person got a serious deserved backlash over the back off of this show

There was absolutely zero chance E4 were gonna broadcast anything like that, especially at 730 after Hollyoaks which is full of LGBT haha - even after the 9pm watershed, I'm pretty amazed it made the cut over on Stateside as it's almost clear hate speech.
Maybe it's because they openly state their admiration for Putin and the Americans liked the thought of a smear campaign.

Oh well, 2 eps down - this is by far looking like the best series yet.

Edit: massive bonus points to the new randy stewardess from New Zealand, particularly to her suggestion that she is gonna dip her tampon in vodka before using it to see if she gets any type of buzz, WTAF haha
