Definitely worth watching?

I got burnt really badly a few years ago watching every series of Lost. It still hurts me today.

I really think it is. Not only is JG absolutely remarkable, the entire cast are fantastic. It also has never really laboured storylines (so far) and it has a very broad range or story arcs. Like I said, it’s very obvious how influential the show is, and for the number of reasons it is.

Without spoiling it for you, the only character that is a weak link is Sylvio. Steven Van Zant is a terrible actor imo. He overdoes it to the point that he's an SNL version of a mafioso.

I’ve always wondered if that is just his role as almost a hyper stereotype?
I loved him, possibly my favourite character! Lilyhammer is supposed to be good too, where he plays a similar role.

He literally plays the same character. It’s all he can do. And does it badly but somehow it’s good.

I think I was worried it would ruin him in The Sopranos for me, I take it that isn’t the case? Might start it over the weekend.

Just watching the Christmas episode of Bottom.

At the beginning Richie gives himself his Santa presents including individual Brussels sprouts, amounting to roughly 140 presents. He kept a written list of each for the purposes of issuing a thank you.

Reminded me of the discussion here about a wedding gift spreadsheet.

So he kept me soul for ransom.

No, that the soundtrack would put me off!

I was cajoled into watching ‘Sex Education’ at the weekend and assumed it would be sh*te; it isn’t. It is incredibly well written and funny. It feels like this generation’s ‘Skins’.
