Just just finished the first season of Corba Kai on Netflix it's fantastically cheesy but a decent watch all the same.

Just finished season two of marcella.  Very good and very dark.  Anna Friel is very good in it.   She has come a long way from kissing young ones in Liverpool

Have watched the first couple of episodes of Preacher, it's written and produced by the same lads that do The Boys and it's even more batsh*t crazy, good fun though!

Loved the first few seasons, thought it got very repetitive after that and just died a death, stopped watching it then but You should be good for another couple of seasons

Is it still going?

I stopped watching when they (trying to avoid spoilers) killed off that little runt.

it’s still very good up to around season 6. Then just gets very repetitive. They should really look to bring it to the conclusion.

That's a decent film and a great insight into the working lives and culture of the men in the (now long gone) Greenock shipyards. Some of the dialogue is a bit OTT and cringeworthy but it's a still a good film. Believe it or not, Martin Scorsese is a fan of it !

If you liked "Just A Boy's Game" I'd recommend from the same writer (Peter McDougall) "The Elephant's Graveyard" (about a guy from who doesn't want to work and lives in his own wee fantasy world) and "Just Another Saturday" (the events before, during and after an orange walk in 1970s Glasgow). All are quite bleak.
