One of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Something doesn't seem right at all. Very hard to believe the story as it's presented. Nobody could be that gullible about their children. Very strange.

The daughter, Jan, seemed like she was still completely brainwashed too. The most vacant stare I have ever seen.

Some great memes going around about Billy's mentor LOL As Baggio (I think) said, Billy either had extreme delusions of grandeur or is a total conman, possibly both.

Absolutely unbelievable I was pulling me hair out watching how crazy it was. You'll need to watch it to understand what I mean.
I just read an interview with the director, I feel compelled to watch it now.

f**king crazy sh*t.
I watched it last night and would recommend it to anyone. I hate to stop it halfway through and check it wasn't a mockumentary. Bizarre, sad and hilarious at the same time.

I'm not sure I buy it, your one is now an actress and has made a good bit off of it, man is dead and can't defend himself,, something a bit off about the whole thing.
Definitely something off alright, I can't put my finger on it though. I think that's what makes it fascinating! It is very hard to take anybody in it seriously, which is why it felt like a mockumentary. Even with my sense of humour,I don't think I would be sitting through a documentary on this subject and cracking jokes like I was through this otherwise, or at least my partner would have told me off for doing so. It is certainly documentary for entertainment, rather than to document a bizarre event and I don't think that is down to those making the documentary either. Everybody is playing to the camera and nobody seems to be telling the truth. They are either unbelievably naive and stupid or incredibly manipulative and intelligent.
I would love to know the real story, I would be fairly certain it isn't in the mother's book either.

There are so many instances in it that point to this. The more you watch it the harder it is to believe.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Take the phone call when she had run away for example. They barely seem concerned that they don't know where their 13/14 year old daughter is and she admits she has no money. Also, the calls between the mother and "B" sound completely fake.

Can't believe the Dad w@nked him off one day LOL

That was f**king hilarious! He did more than give him a hand shandy too! Mother, father and daughter, he was a real-life Quagmire.

Seriously how much of a chancer was your man who ran it. Cut corners at every turn kinda guy.

Though I will say the people who went to the festival, if the guy had had it on remote island and he had left them all there I would have given him a medal.

Throughout the show, just when I was thinking it couldn't get any more unbelievable, it did.
Fair play to your man targetting those who can afford to pay up to $250,000 for a Music Festival, brought most of them back to reality for probably the first time ever. Was scummy not paying all the workers though. Never seen anything like him before

Started watching the Umbrella Academy last night after hearing good things about it.

Only one episode in but enjoyable reminds me a bit of watchmen

Robert Sheehan getting a lot if plaudits and it's clear why.

"Halt and Catch fire" a TV show set in the early 80's about a fictional company who are trying to break into the home computer business.

This is excellent and totally went under the radar when it was released. Its 4 seasons long,40 episodes altogether.
