Why should he, they fooked him over and you reckon he should just let them off with it.......

Usually I would agree but these are exceptional circumstances. The FAI are flat broke, we all know why and it isn't Keanes fault. However, it will be the grass roots of Irish football which will suffer from the lack of resources. If Keane gave up the payout for the remainder of his contract (work he hasnt yet done), it would be a huge gesture and would boost his legacy.

There is no guarantee that that money would go towards grass roots football or anything remotely related to football.

Probably used to pay legal fees or something along those lines.

I get that Horsey. The money could be used for JD's payout or other legal issues, who knows. The point is that Keane presumably has been already paid very well for the work he has done for the FAI. The remainder of the contract will involve him getting a large wedge for doing nowt other than walking away.

I've heard rumours of him taking over from Noel King as Player Identification Manager.

What the job actually curtails I have no idea

Nothing official yet. The only source is the Sun who claim GBS was sacked last week when he was still there on the sideline managing them last night. So they obviously aren’t the best source.

It's obviously the history that's attracted Robbie to the franchise. Believe it or not, Galaxy were founded way back in the mid 1990s.
