Wouldnt be one for the conspiracy theories but that and even the free to lead to the penalty were shocking

It's corruption
They desperately NEED sevco to get this free champ lge entry money at the end of the season They already exceeded their cheating for last year and look to 'better' their performance from the Mowbray season That was a massive 2 points dropped for Aberdeen who need every point they can get at the minute - if only someone had the balls to crack up and make a scene about all this cheating - cos Celtic won't |

An award of a soft penalty is not evidence of anything.
The rabbit hole is becoming a sinkhole around here.

Corruption...Although fanciful last night and red card v Hibs - two of the more difficult home games which they struggled in - would get you thinking. But for me - from the bit of I've seen of them this season - its the general officiating involving them - not calling fouls, going easy on the player when a yellow is deserved points to at least an unconscious bias. There approach in the midfield is hack away at the opposition knowing they'll get away with it or will be late in the game before they'll get a yellow.

But when people trawl over decision making with a fine tooth comb, especially when there is not a scintilla of objectivity, you can question whether people are seeing what they want to see, or find the angle that justifies their views. Take a look at the Celtic thread and you’ll see reference to in game decisions that Celtic won that ‘might’ have had an impact.

Sees who posts the comment. Figures. Probably still has a Barry Ferguson poster from Match magazine in his bedroom. |

Hetfield, you can look at it both ways.
A few Celtic fans in whatsapp groups that i'm in are always complaining about Rangers penalties. The majority of them are correct decisions i would add. There are then examples like last night which are absurd decisions.
The red card record is a major red flag though. Its years since they had a player sent off in the SPFL, whereas they've had 4 or 5 sent off in the same time in European Competitions, in obviously a lot less games. I wonder how VAR will go in Scotland..... Edited by Roberto Baggio - 28 Oct 2021 at 3:42pm |

I agree it can be seen from both ways. That’s fair enough. And I will be the first to concede that winning sides seem to get more of a ‘run of the green’ when it comes to decisions that wouldn’t even reach the standard of marginal let alone stonewall.

Red that stat on red cards there for curiosity -- Last one was against Celtic in December 2019 when Morelos was going through a run of them - 5 in the year

Revealed documents showing that the conflict with the Cinch deal was an agreement they had with Douglas Parks since 2015, which was not revealed to the league before now.
