Again, they've released their annual accounts late on a Friday night

£15.9m loss and £17.7m debt converted to equity

They need £8.8m extra funding to see out this season and a further £14.4m to complete next season

It's a disgrace nothing is done about this mob

Sadly it looks like they're gonna get CL group stage money next season unless Celtic can get their act together

Yeah basically letting them off the hook. They could even afford to punt one of their more valuable players in January if they have a significant lead built up.

Roofe is a good signing for Rangers. Thought he was decent enough player at Leeds and he's still only 27.

I know he's getting European football with Rangers but he's definitely good enough to play at a higher level.

MOD FactCheck:

THE CLAIM:
Tones stated that “they’ll” as in Rangers would win today by 5 goals to Aberdeens 0 goals.

Tones further stated that “they’ll” as in Rangers would do so with two penalties.

THE FACTS:

Rangers won by 4 goals to 0

Rangers were awarded 1 penalty.

THE RESULT (other than the 4-0 that is):

Following an exhaustive investigation, both of Tones claims above are deemed as: FALSE/UNTRUE

Sure Tony would never refer to Rangers as “they’ll” would he?

This is from the herald, taken from the report (they say)

The board said that chairman Douglas Park and director John Bennett would provide additional loan facilities as necessary to meet funding shortfalls.

The report said that the duo had "agreed to provide a formal facility with funds being made immediately available to meet short term cash needs with further funds to be made available to draw down as they are required."

went on: "The board acknowledge that the uncertainty over the level of additional funds that will be required and a lack of a binding debt facility indicate that a material uncertainty exists which may cast doubt over the group’s ability to continue as a going concern and therefore its ability to realise its assets and discharge its liabilities in the normal course of business.

"Nevertheless, having secured the offer of further loan funding referred to above, the board of directors believe that there is a reasonable expectation that the group will at all times have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future."

As at June 30, there are unsecured loans with investors amounting to £15.3 million and other commercial loans of £2.9 million.
