I can see it now:
Murray: "Why can't we all be Mr. Orange?"

HMRC: "Don't be silly, there can only be one and you're it. Now get over there and sit alongside Mr. Green and Mr. White..."

Came across this last night, an interesting story. I had often heard his name but knew little about him. I do remember meeting members of the Kearny Celtic supporters club in Seville, he might even have been there himself.

St Johnstone's exit is potentially more embarrassing than Rangers'

Their Slovenian opponents went down to 10-men on both legs and STJ still managed to lose both legs LOLLOL

They were Lithuanian, worse again.LOL They had a couple of headers early on and after that they created nothing. They had all the ball and did nothing with it. The ref was terrible all round, their player's second yellow was incredibly soft; a push in the back going up for a header on the halfway line.
Trakai were terrible and still deserved the win.
I have definitely reconsidered my views on Tommy Wright after it. He can set a team up not to get beat but has no interest in even trying to score goals. There is a reason no club has come in for him. He has found his level there.
At least they were full-time though!

Cork would have spanked Rangers. Even Rovers probably would have beaten them. They are a shambles

If they lost to a semi-pro team from Luxembourg, it is fair to say that some first division teams would have given them a go. Getting rid of Warburton is looking smarter by the day.

Not sure about the rest but Celtic won the double in 1976/77.

So this is probably fake news "And improve O’Neill did. He trained with a handful of Scottish internationals as well as the other first team and reserve members of the 1976-77 treble winning side."

Assumed it was a typo, most of the same team won the treble the following year.

Went down 2-1 to amateur side Tynecastle FC today. At least they're improving from midweek.

Twenty years ago this summer Rangers tried to sign the world's best player at the time, the Brazilian striker Ronaldo. "This shows we are now talking about existing on a completely different plane," David Murray, the Rangers chairman, said in 1997. scotmans

It wasn't unrealistic, Stefan Klos was the highest paid player in the world during his time at Ibrox. The problem was how they paid for him was unrealistic.

There is some talk that Porto are going ask UEFA to investigate the Rangers side that finished above them in the 05-06 CL groups, which would open a whole new can of worms for the SFA.

Rangers could face multi-million-pound claims against their assets after Henderson & Jones, who specialise in buying legal claims and pursuing them through the courts, purchased Wavetower, the company used by former owner Craig Whyte to buy the club, and Sevco 5088, who then acquired the Glasgow outfit. (Daily Record)
