Rangers can't afford RVP, firstly Fenerbahce are looking a transfer fee never mind his wages. Joey Barton is on an estimated 20-30k Warburton earns 12k.. 75k for RVP? Come on, lets be real.
Rangers were heavily linked with Bradshaw from L1 they couldn't afford the 750k to bring him to Ibrox, nor could they afford Will Grigg another target. Rangers highest transfer fee this summer has been 250k for Rossiter and Dodoo. However I'd welcome RVP to the SPL, realistically Rangers will be second or third anyway it would bring much needed media attention to the league, the signing of Kolo Toure for ourselves and Barton for the other lot has started to do that anyway. Did you see RVP against Celtic last year? He was a complete waste of a jersey. Lazy and uninterested. Just happy to take a huge wage for little or no effort. I would take Bamford over RVP any day of the week.

Echoing what RoyD said, I too would take Bamford over RVP, RVP is a has been and while there are huge doubts about Bamford, he is still very much a might be. |
