'' I still can't get enough of how magic this feels.

To be finally rid of the rotten, cheating, corrupt cancer that has infested itself in not only Scottish football, but in life as a whole. A club which for over 100 years refused to sign a player because they were of a certain religion. Imagine in any other country in the world, or as it should have been - here, the outrage at having a religiously aggravated signing policy up until 1989. 19 feckin' 89, that's the year I was born. The outrage would, rightly, be national and indeed international had their signing policy been 'no jews' or 'no muslims'. So why wasn't it? Because they are, rather, were 'the people'.

All the masonic handshakes, underhand payments, succulent lamb and finest wine. Get it right up you.

A club, that racked up a whopping estimated £134,000,000 in debt. £134 million. eff me. To put it into some sort of worldwide perspective, that's on a par with the GDP of Ukraine, New Zealand, hungary and Peru. They spent the GDP of NATIONS trying to emulate Celtic and Big Jock's success and got nowhere but an early and thoroughly deserved grave. A grave that will be in a dilapidated park somewhere, unmarked, and regularly pished upon by stray dogs, while weeds flourish from the spot where it's rotten carcass lies.

A club who's fans, for generations have sang songs of religious bile and hatred. Songs about being 'Up to their knees in fenian blood' and the famine being over. Despite this, they again, went sensationally unnoticed in this magical country of ours and it was only recently UEFA started looking in to their, eh, inspired songbook. Have they no songs actually about football? I supposed not, have you seen how they effing attempted to play it?

While we have songs celebrating our past heroes: Jimmy Mcgrory, Jock Stein, Paul McStay, Billy McNeill, Davie Hay, Bertie Auld, Jinky, Henrik Larsson - to name a few - the list is endless. They have songs about their supposed superiority because they are 'The people'/

A club who's fans have caused destruction across cities and who are frequently told when leaving "I hope the doors hit you on the way out"

Brian Clough: "What team did you say you support again?"
Man in the studio audience: "RANGERS!"
Brian Clough: "That's not a football team! That's a gang of villains."

To the Rangers fans: "Stay and vomit in your own home, urinate in the corner of your own sitting room, fight with your own neighbours Celtic (who deserve a medal for putting up with you) and foul the streets of Glasgow. Don't come back to Barcelona, you're an embarrassment. And while we're at it, don't play in the Champions League. You're not up to scratch, either on a sporting or human level.
There are noisy supports who, even though they drink large quantities of beer, make friends. Not you lot, because you turn everywhere you go into dumps. You are undesirables."
El Mundo Deportivo Newspaper on Rangers after the Rangers game v Barcelona in the Nou Camp (Nov 07)

"The people in that CCTV footage acted like a pack of wolves. Whatever happened earlier there was no excuse for this level of violence. "
Assistant Chief Constable Justine Curran, the match commander during Rangers' shame in the UEFA Cup Final "Battle of Piccadilly" in Manchester

A club, who not once, in the face of this, have apologised to the British public. The British who they feel such a strong sense of love for, but who couldn't give a eff back.

A club, who instead of looking to atone for their sins, are looking for an easy way out, trying to beg and loophole their way back to where they wrongly perceive they belong.

There's only one place they belong, and that's where they are. Dead and buried. The only tears of sadness at your funeral will be of those who have loved ones who did not live to see this day.

In fact, I may take that fiver which was so often mentioned and buy some flowers to lay on that unmarked grave. I'll also take that tenner and ram it right up your arse.

Get it up yous. The war is over, the rebels have won. ''

Haven’t been followgn this closely, but can somebody explain the following to me?

If the club has gone bust, why isn’t all its assets like ibrox sold to help pay off their creditors? Do the club not own it, or is it held in trust by another company or what?

"Not surprised you are anti foreigner in your so called Kip of a town when you don’t want a manager because he is Swedish and you want big Sam in charge" - a fine post from a fine ybig poster

BREAKING NEWS

News from the Rangers media conference at Ibrox.

Charles Green has issued a formal offer to Walter Smith to become chairman of 'The Rangers Fooball Club Board'. He says if Walter wants that position he'll appoint him at 09:00 BST on Friday morning.
He wants Ally McCoist to be the manager 100% although he hasn't spoken to him about it.
He won't sell his shares to Walter Smith's consortuim. He only has a small share.
Imran Amed (non-executive director), said that as well as the £5.5m, the cost incurred are up to about £10m. Other investors would be looking for a multiple of that if they were to sell their shares.
Green described newspaper speculation about him getting rid of McCoist as "rubbish".
"I don't stab people in the back I do it in the chest," he said. :o
Green has invited Walter Smith's consortium to come with them and take the club forward. ''
