It was clear from the first replay that it was a penalty as Dendoncker trod on Mahrez’s foot as he went past him yet all Beglin would talk about was a potential push in the back on Mahrez, which isn’t what it was given for

Brain dead defending by Mendy, just turn and hoof it up the line
Taking off de Bruyne has ruined City as an attacking threat in this game Wolves will get a winner, it’s an onslaught

mendy was actually playing well until he made a balls of it.not buying into KDB getting taken off led to city’s defeat...game in two days and he’s vital to this team...could goon about tonight but what’s the point, only good thing is Garcia has showed he’s ready to step up.

It’s amazing the drop in performance compared to the last 2 years.
The first 2 summers Pep was buying 3/4 top players. The last 2 summers he only bought Mahrez and Rodri. More investment was needed for a team that wants to win 4 trophies. The season can still classified as good if they win a domestic trophy and go far in the champions league (1/2 finals at least). Big signings are needed soon. I do hope Pep stays for a few more seasons.

think he’s underestimated the premier league and the wear and tear it takes out of players.if he thought he could go another season with same squad that had just won back to back leagues he was of his head...although you wouldn’t know how that effects players too, some look like they just have to turn up to win.the side badly lacks a bit of steel/bottle..the rodri signing strange.rodri reminds me of a busquests type of player when we needed a new ferindhino..was pep looking to mould them into that top Barca side he had????...I can’t see pep staying around to do a rebuilding job.gone in the summer....

When KDB went off City were unable to get out of their own half. It became a total onslaught. He’s one of the best counter attackers in the world and was good while on at taking the pressure off the defence and getting up the field to win a free or kill a bit of time. I understand there’s a game in a few days but he doesn’t have to start it. Get the points last night and give him a rest at home to Sheffield United on Sunday Agree that Mendy was good apart from his mistake. Conceding the Traore goal so soon after the Sterling second goal was a big thing. For a number of reasons City are just not the same team this year. It happens. They were unable to get a similar points tally than the last two seasons. No one was catching Liverpool this season though no matter how good City were. There’s no need to panic from a City point of view for me. They’ve no divine right to win the league every year. Get a top 4 finish, win a domestic cup and see how far they can go in the CL, and rebuild in the summer.
