Good question actually.

I could be completely wrong but I wouldn't choose him as captain.

For now, I'd pick Fernandinho and then Laporte when it becomes available again, gives him another couple of seasons to develop into the leader of the team.

I would imagine Silva will be the captain next season. Was he not vice captain to Kompany?

Yeah he was. He doesn't strike me as a leader though.
Next captain should be someone to have the armband for the next 4 or 5 years IMO, which is why i'd choose KDB, but Fernadinho would do a decent job for the next year or so i'm sure.

People forget how difficult it was to travel ‘behind the curtain’ back in the day. You were lucky to get a cup of tea moreso than getting a draw.

Dalglish, infamously would survive on digestive biscuits on such trips as he refused to eat the food and maybe afraid of food poisoning ala Gordon Banks in Mexico.

The European Cup may have been only eight ‘easier’ games back in the ‘70s, but qualification was much stricter. That’s why it was harder to win.

He's had 2 weeks to get over it poor Aldo, maybe needs another month.
Maybe taking it extra bad after giving it the whole "we're gonna win the league" chat for months.
