Mahrez is heavly linked to City.
Is he really going to add to the first team? |

Not needed IMO. Should be looking at a striker and another CB, which I'd say he is.

Yeah I don’t think Mahrez is what they need.
I think they should get Alderweireld as he is better than what they have and is available but apparently they aren’t looking for a CB They want back up/ eventual replacement for Fernandinho and a wide forward as all their forwards are at the World Cup. |

Jorginho and Mahrez seem to be the top two targets

Would Pep have any interest in Lewandowski?
Apparently he is available. |

reckon it would only happen if several other transfers happened. griezmann to barca, aguero back to atleti, then lewi in to city. not sure who bayern would have lined up as a replacement though...

Jorginho deal quite close according to twitter.
Anyone Serie A fans on here care to give a description on him? Have only watched him a couple of times. Is he in the mould of a Gundogan type player? |

Toure lashing out at Guardiola, while it's Toure he does make some interesting points and is echoing what other players have said previously too

Never heard any other players suggesting Guardiola is a racist before. |

If you had to compare him to any of City's current midfielders, then yes, Gundogan would be the closest. He can play the box-to-box role, but hes been superb for Napoli as a deep lying midfielder. His passing is fantastic

Sounds like Jorginho is coming to city for £46.5m.

Gundogan is being heavily linked with barca.
Not an easy window for City to strengthen without upsetting the balance of the squad.
