Found it really insightful, I think he gave away little bits but you could tell he wasn't telling everything for obvious reasons

As a Cruijff disciple I fully endorse this methodology.
Like everything though it doesn't suit all opposition types - Liverpool and Milan's hammering of City and the Barca Dream Team being two examples.

For this reason I do not think Pep will win the CL (unless it's a strange year) again.
Dominate leagues yes but not a one off or two legged tie.

Would be a shame though.

Patrick Roberts being linked with Leicester. Could be part of a deal for Mahrez.

Wouldn't be surprised if the only summer signings were Mahrez and Jorginho

City don't need Mahrez, not with Bernardo Silva there anyway. Similar sort of players, although Mahrez is probably a bit quicker.

I think they might bring in a target man type forward Pep did slightly allude last night to being able to adapt to long ball game in England.

Question is who would fit the bill for that

Mahrez has far more end product than Bernardo Silva. Silva's played on the right of a front three most times and the one area he needs to improve on is he isn't clinical enough.

Can't see them going for a target man type forward. It will be someone who can play through the middle or on the wing. Leon Bailey has been heavily linked.

Some of the lads who joined City last season will benefit from the year served under Pep and will likely execute his ideas a bit better in future. Look at the difference in the likes of Sterling and Sane, they were much improved this season on last.

Pep extends contract to 2021
Would be the longest stay at any club if he stays until then

Granted he had a couple of good games thrown in, but in general it's been a horrid year for him. As I said already, might be a bit of the Torres yo Chelsea about this transfer.

Couple of good games LOL

Moleman on Alexis Sanchez in January.

I argued against him but at the minute, he seems to have had a decent point.

I doubt Chelsea would sell to a direct rival.
If he does go I could see him at Real.

That was a bad call as Bayabako didn’t work out but it was like Mata, Chelsea were happy to sell the player.

Hazard is on a different level.

I took absolute pelters for even suggesting Sanchez might not rip it up at United. From all angles, and these pelters were coming at a rate  of knots as well! Tbh, I was amazed that was supposedly an outlandish comment to make, Sanchez was absolutely horrid at times for Arsenal in the previous 12 months to his signing for United. He is a class player, I do think if United rejigged their attack to accommodate him they might actually find that spark again. As it is, he's basically a lad who cuts back inside and clips the ball to the back post for the big fella, nearly every chance he gets. It's sad to see. I'd love to see him play as a central striker, it will most likely never happen under Mourinho though.
"I called him an embarrassment to FIFA and to himself," .... He said 'No-one speaks to me like that'.... and I said, "well I do' and that was that."
