David Conn said recently that UEFA is one of Europe's great institutions. He remained very quiet yesterday on the PSG member who's on UEFA's executive committee who was charged with bribery by a Swiss court.
He wouldn't be the most balanced reporter on City

David Conn is a Man City fan, his granddad took him to a Man City home game when he was 3 or 4 years old and he was hooked. 
Met him in 2002 when he gave a lecture at the University of Liverpool Football Industry MBA program.

Don't have the date. Thought it was common knowledge that he was a former fan of the club
See bump on Liverpool thread from PM from a year ago who referred to him as the same.

I suppose he will always be a Manchester City fan, he just recognised that it wasn’t his club anymore after it was hijacked by people who didn’t care about his city or his team, only to launder their reputations.

I suppose the question really is: are the club that plays under the name ‘Manchester City ‘ actually Manchester City?

True, and I don’t think there are many clubs in the EPL, but what’s different here is that the sole purpose of the owners is to launder their reputation. That makes them different to the others, even Chelsea.
