It isn't really a story, and it isn't the story here

The story here is of national newspapers inventing stories about players getting booed who weren't even on the pitch

That's straw man stuff. That wasn't what I said.

But yah it isn't much of a story in any case.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Just flicked it on to check the score.  Just glanced at the screen and saw 3-1 and without thinking thought it was Man City 3-1 up.  About 5 sconds went by before I copped it was Norwich 3-1 up.

Didn’t see any of it, but not starting De Bruyne seemed a bit complacent to me.

Great start to the season for Liverpool
Can’t keep giving them these leads.
Said City at the start but fancy Liverpool for the title now

"De Bruyne"?

Don't you mean "Foden"?

Early days and Liverpool have a tough run of fixtures now -

Away to Napoli and Chelsea next.
Next month they have Man U, Spurs and Lesta with champion leagues midweek.

Looong way to go yet.

No

Foden should be getting more game time though, as should Fernandinho (a better player than Rodri from what I’ve seen of the Spaniard so far) and it’s time Cancelo got a game at right back.

Id put the reserves out against Napoli.
Sneak a draw.

city weren't great by any means but still had plenty of chances to put Norwich away....it was just one of those in regards to that.norwichs first goal was really poor by city and for a player of that size to score a header is poor, also sterling marking front post at corners and nobody on the line for them is bizarre.not buying into all th crap about stones and oltimendi partnership been crap...think stones was more at fault for the Norwich third goal..passing it to oltimendi and then straight away point to him to pass it to the keeper.i do agree with you Baggio about Rodri,I think he'll come good but at the minute I'd rather ferindino in there,I can only guess he's been held back for bigger games and champions league.walker was poor also so would like to see the new full back given a run.

I'd say we'll see Cancelo this week in the CL.
It was understated at the end of last season just how much of a loss Kompany would be, both on the field and off it.
I'd say by May it will be more obvious.

Kompany was a massive loss. Laporte almost as big then. I think Liverpool will tear that City back line apart when they play them in a couple of months time and open up a big gap on them.

Last weekend showed that Laporte might just be the most important player in that City squad. It's a bit like van Dijk at Liverpool - you can play lads beside him and he'll make them look good, but take him out and play those same lads together - i.e Stones and Otamendi - and it turns into a complete sh*tshow.

Two years ago when City had the league won by Christmas, Stones and Otamendi were the centre half partnership for the first half of the season up until Stones got injured at Leicester in December
