Cheers for the info Conor but was in Dachau after the Euros and that was tough to see so not sure if I could face Auschwitz tbh.
Was in Krakow before and it was a nice spot but wouldn't mind somewhere different. |

Worked there for a few months in the last few years outsourcing operations from Luxembourg - great city. Great nightlife. Fell in love with Soplica Hazelnut Vodka while there. Basically spent most of my time in Niebo Cafe bar at Ruska 51 - its surrounded by clubs of various music tastes.
No closing time in Niebo - few mornings was back to hotel for shower straight to work. Edit - forgot to mention the ladies are top class there and very friendly

Wroclaw(pronounced Vrots Wav!) is a great spot, was there for a few days in 2006 and it was a class city, also went back for the Euros, difficult to judge a place with a big fan zone covering the centre of town but from experience previous certainly a nice place to spend a couple of days

If you are travelling with kids or like animals go to the ZOO. Recently they opened completely new Africarium- heard only good things about it. Just opposite th ZOO two things worth to mention- Pergola- big fountain with multimedia displays on summer nigts and Japanese Garden. Both very nice places. Old town is a must of course as well as boat tour on Odra River. Plenty of good hotels and places to eat for every taste and pocket. We`ve been having temperatures around 40°C here recently but it won`t be the issue in October i guess ;) |
