Loads of people would choose club over country.

There is a difference in chosing club over country when your club is actually your club. Born and bread in that area with ties to it. Many people consider their town/City more important than their country. Chosing club over country when the club is as random as throwing a dart at a dart board is a little strange and odd.

I find it strange that people would follow a LOI club.
The complete incompetence of the clubs involved in the league is beyond laughable.

If there was a frame work on how not to run a league or a club. The LOI league and clubs would be top of the list.

Just look at the results in Europe this year. Embarrassing.

However not as embarrassing as small minded fans.

Some would say the same about Ireland...Dont you think?

Embarrassing, do we give up adn go supporting England? No we still support them because we are Irish. Its the exact same thing!
Hometown football, cant beat the feeling...

I think his point is more that it is easier to understand someone from Cork saying they support Cork more than Ireland than someone again from Cork saying they support Liverpool over Ireland.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get me...
