100% for me.
Looked our best player every time he got the ball bar when he ran out of legs in the 2nd half.
Kenny says he was feeling unwell.

Always thought the same. That style looks great and effortless when he has a good game but looks like not really arsed when it isint working for him. Didnt give 2 fukks about stirring up the crowd too. Had a great performance last night, shout for MOTM.

He looks so much more comfortable cutting in on his right foot. He was a real threat down the left side. His passing was very good and his left foot is good enough. Looked up for it. I was impressed for the first time, honestly. Hopefully he starts getting some club games.

Yeah I loved Matt's performance last night. Can't fault anyone who started that game, they were all tuned in and worked hard but they ran themselves ragged and then subs came, and the goals came.
I thought Hendrick put in a big shift too which is great. Maybe the intent that Kenny brings to the game is now getting through and is a big improvement than the non-coaching that reportedly was what MON did.

The constant booing of Doherty was hilarious. Has anyone ever paid him as much notice?

He strikes me as the kind of person who would relish it.

I see a few people criticising O'Shea for making the most of Ronaldo raising his hands to him. I applaud him for it. It's about time we became more cynical.

Pity Ronaldo could have taken a machete out of his shorts and slashed him without getting booked by that clown of a referee.

Was thinking the same.

Doherty seemed to relish it.

I think Doherty might have been motivated last night too by the fact he was moved on by a Portuguese manager (yes, bought by another Portuguese manager) and has lost face to a lot of former Portuguese teammates. Last night he showed people the player he can be.
Big call now for Kenny to play him in one or both of the next two games.

He should have went down holding his shoulder where he got hit. VAR didn't go to it I think because O'Shea made a meal out of it by holding his face.
A Punch in the shoulder then would have still been a sending off offence

This incident tells me we a but naive \ too nice. If that was Pepe getting a slap the Portugese would have been all the ref and made bloody sure VAR was checked - O'shea could have pushed Ronaldo back and then a couple of others got invovled in handbags.

No not for me. As gutted as i was about the other night there was nothing in it. Ronaldo barely touched him and i for one do not want one of our players faking injury to get someone else sent off. I don't care what other people say. He went down holding his face which was embarrasing. Lets be honest if one of our players were sent off for what ronaldo did we would be livid and rightly so.

I agree with this.
Was shameful to go down holding his face and I don't care who else does it.

Having said that, the ref should have looked at the incident as it was still a swing, regardless of the reaction.

Enjoyed an interview RTE ran with him just now. His commitment had been questioned in the past but based on what he has just had to say that suggestion can be binned. Seems a good lad and a smart fella too. Talks honestly Thumbs Up

Agree.

I couldn't warm to him before as there seemed to be something off about him. He was very good yesterday and pretty self deprecating in fairness to him.

He did his performance against the Danes was one of his best. I know he scored but he forgot to mention he was at fault for their goal LOL
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

This lad drives me mad. Thought from the very first minute he didn't look the slightest bit interested, was reluctant to make runs, rarely crossed the ball, it got to a point that Coleman lost frustration with him and ended up coming out of the back 3 to go and do his job for him.

We finally get a good game out of last Wednesday and straight away he reverts back to type. If he's not arsed do everyone a favour and feck off.

Why the fook didn't Kenny stick with him on the left? Him and Coleman don't work well together on the right. Same with McClean and Horgan on the left.
