Azpilicueta I was thinking. Just a standard choice with no thought put into it.

+1

Wan-Bissaka better defensively, Doherty been the best in an attacking sense

Outside of the obvious candidates (Azpilicueta and Alexander-Arnold) he's certainly been right up there.
We're decent enough..

Re team selection, I remain a huge fan of our captain Coleman despite possibly some indifferent form playing under what looks like a poorly organised and doomed manager.

Clearly Doherty has to be in the team.

If Coleman starts right-back, what do lads think of Doherty playing left-back?  Think he played there maybe 3 or 4 seasons for Wolves, including their promotion year, and presumably could do a serious job for us there?  Would solve what has been a tricky position for us the past few years.

What do lads think?

He was a mediocre left-back. His whole career took off when he was moved to the right.

hes playing too well on the right for wolves to be moved to accommodate coleman either coleman in back 3 with doherty rwb, coleman rb and doherty ahead of him, or doherty rb and coleman left out imo

Player of the year for Wolves at left-back a while back. Hasn't played there in ages though, and I'd rather him at right-wing now than left-back.
We're decent enough..

Enda Stevens is not too bad as a left wing back either!
“Randolph sends it long…and Shane Long is in behind the German defence… Shane Long against Neuer…. 1-0!.. What a moment!”

Lads on form must be played in their usual position and competition for places has never been a bad thing. Seamus is a great lad but he’s not had his best season. Simple decision for mick..

I would like to see Coleman left out. Moving players to accommodate other players doesn’t sit well with me. Coleman is not a centre half nor is he a right midfielder. He has to be left out
