Mourinho has criticised Doherty in the past rightly so but praised him tonight said he was impeccable in his defensive work and also going forward.

He had a good game tonight the game suited him in that it allowed him to push up a bit further. Up to now Mourinho has been very slow to play Reguilon and Doherty in the same back 4 for obvious reasons and that’s not just Dohertys limitations it’s Reguilons also he’s not the best defensively. If Doc is playing it tends to be Davies on the other side and vice versa.

Interesting to see will he play the two of them against Arsenal next Sunday now after praising him tonight? It will be Doc missing out if he doesn’t trust them as Reguilon will play he’s well ahead of Davies. Presume Aurier is out injured so will he be even back by then.

Aurier actually played well Sunday really well. If you are him youd be frustrated you weren’t playing if we are being cold about it.

It seems he just swaps the 2 of them every 2nd game regardless 😂

he’d be expensive to get rid of and who takes over - that’s the dilemma - a europa league win would steady things a bit. They’ll cash in on some of the above in the summer if no champions league.
Has Solskjaer has shown, pretty much any manager is better than mourinho at the moment. He’s toxic

Heard reports that it would cost Tottenham 35million to sack Mourinho.. if true, Tottenham simply can't afford it.

Cant see mourinho leaving anytime soon.

I love when a player escapes his management and goes on to good things.

Has he left a legacy or a squad capable of doing anything after he has left? Honest question?

Spurs will be done with him at a huge expense soon enough. They deserve it.

The dog on the street knew how this would turn out and its goin to script.

Begs the question is Levy believed differently or just accepted the end-result and hoped for a title or close in the two good years?
Regardless, the death-spiral has begun.

Latter I reckon. Levy probably thought he might get a credible title challenge and perphaps a trophy out of it before the sh*t hit the fan. They may yet win the League Cup or Europa League but they'd be better off getting rid in the summer regardless

Spurs should get Brendan Rogers.  He got loads of stick from Celtic fans for leaving but it was the correct decision and he has done a great job at Leceister.  Would he leave who knows.  Liverpool city and items won’t appoint him, so only leaves Chelsea Spurs and Arsenal really with Spurs the most likely to approach him.

Real Madrid didn’t do too badly in champions league after he left but I agree with everything you say.

Would be surprised if Doherty isn't still at the club by the time Mourinho gets the sack.

He does have to take some accountability for his own performances though.
