The injured man — who has 23 charges pending against him — was later driven to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda before being brought to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital where his injuries are not life threatening.

I don't occupy any moral high ground but what is wrong is wrong.  Racial, ethnic or social stereotyping is imo the same as any other form of racism or bigotry.  There are too many people on this forum ready at the first opportunity to point the finger at travellers, romas or other specific social groups every time a crime or socially unacceptable behaviour is reported.

Huggybear on the money, a well known criminal from Finglas, according to the report in the indo. Lexus was not a stolen car, but owned/registered by somebody currently in jail. Fella  who got shot has a mere 23 previous convictions, so I think it is safe to say his intentions on visiting a farm were entirely well intentioned..............
