Contract is up with 3 next month & am thinking of changing supplier. Mainly just need it for browsing so not too pushed bout speeds etc just need it to be reliable (which 3 isn't) & be of decent price.

Anyone got any recommendations?

I currently have UPC. TV, Phone and Broadband all together and I must say, it is brilliant.

Rarely, if ever had a problem with the internet connection and downloading etc is very quick.

UPC is by far the best for lots of different reasons.
It was far across the sea,
When the devil got a hold of me,
He wouldn't set me free,
So he kept me soul for ransom.

Can you get the UPC broadband on its own though? Yes, I know I'm being lazy!

UPC are the best for speed no doubt.

Eircom etc all have 8mb whereas UPC have 20, 50, and 100.  So if you are sharing a house with someone who may also be using broadband UPC is the only way to go as their speed kicks everybody elses arse.

Not mad about their customer care but to  honest most companies nowadays have sh*te customer service.
AKA pedantic kunt

You can but it's an extra €7.88 pm if you don't have a tv or phone package as well. Think their basic broadband is €25 pm for 20mb so it would be €32.88 pm. It's great broadband in fairness.

Probably has been asked to death but looking to change broadband provider.
Currently have Sky TV, broadband and talk which is coming in too expensive. Broadband and Talk alone is €40pm (€30 for talk and the other €10 for broadband.
I imagine the reason Sky talk is so expensive is you have to pay for the line rental?

Anyway, looking for a decent broadband (would be using it for streaming). Could live without a house phone.

Any recommendations?

I see Eircom are doing FTTH broadband trials in Belcarra Mayo and are getting speeds over 900mb.
Would a certain Mr. Kenny live in that area?

If it's broadband only Bob you want check out Vodafones simply broadband which will be through the phone line or imagine WiMAX which is €19pm after a €150 initial installation/equip charge.

Just click the Broadband only tab. Vodafone is still the cheapest overall. Dont be fooled by cheap introductory offers. The total cost per year is provided also below the monthly cost in smaller print. I've had no issues at all with speeds or otherwise with Vodafone.
