Yeah, missing by the same amount, not sure why they didn't review!

Look in a tight spot now, yet again nobody else stepping up.

Awful from Adair getting done with that direct hit, far too slow off the mark. Think they're goosed now.

All over. Very poor with teh bat bar Stirling. That Singh run out was another disgrace, strolling down the crease. Wouldn't have made any odds but still very lazy.

Seemed very slow considering it, dunno what went on there. They finished the match with a review in hand as well so it was very costly in that case. Not the first time they've done that as well.

Was visiting friends in Oz Christmas before last (when we were allowed do nice things) and watched a bit of him in the Big Bash over there. He's a super player with ball and bat, he's essntially the difference between us and them.

Hard to believe he’s still only 22! Love watching him in the IPL! Hopefully Afghanistan find a few more gems coming through as he deserves to play and compete at the very highest level of the game.

02.03.2011:

We're 113/5 at the game and 4,000/1 at the bookies to beat England in the World Cup.

With 200+ runs still to get, we set Johnston Mooney and O'Brien on them. No bother. At a time when they couldn't get on the back pages of any paper, the team were on the front pages of every paper the next morning.

Tight enough game here in Utrecht, we should have had then dead and buried, had them at 130/7 or so, we're now chasing 196, have four wickets left

8 wicket win for Ireland yesterday levels the series at one game all. 4 wickets each for Young and Little.  50s for Stirling and Balbirnie.

Far better performance. Decider on Monday. Still really let 10 points in WC qualification slip on Weds.
