It was par for the wicket. After a great start, we lost our way, and limped to 200.

It was always going to be a knife edge to defend the total, but we took wickets at key times and almost every bowler made their contribution. After  years of calling for a new captain,we finally have one, and he's makng a difference. Balbirnie should have won last week in Barbados, and in just his 4th game in charge, we've beaten the World Champions away from home. Not many Irish teams have done that in any discipline.

That post aged well. Embarrassingly bad performance with the bat and even worse with the ball. 9 wicket defeat with 9 overs to spare.

Good win for Ireland v Afghanistan yesterday. Kevin O'Brien hits a six off Rashid Khan on the last ball of the super over to seal victory.

Turning it around a bit but they'll probably still be all out for 125 with England knocking that off in 25 overs.
