I do think given how much protection goalies have these days it's a foul but a soft one. If you're challenging for an aerial ball with the goalie and your arms are anywhere near his neck/head it's automatically given as a foul these days more often than not.

It wouldn't have been a foul years ago and for me it still wasn't enough to stop De Gea not being able to punch the ball out.

Everton deserved their draw.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

Eh no because he would get the ball and the ref has no decision to make.
De Gea was weak. Look at his body language. He didn’t fancy going all out to win the ball.

De Gea didn’t cover himself in glory but quite frankly if you think that’s not a foul you don’t have a clue about football, you can’t challenge the keeper with your arm in his face.

Wud ya go away. Barely touched him. Goalies have been getting away with so called fouls forever. Delighted VAR actually got this one spot on. Not every challenge is a foul.

An arm in the face is a f**king foul on any player not just the goalkeeper.

Poch coming out saying he's waiting on Pep's situation at City before he decides on his next job.
Can't help but think he's also thinking the same about OGS at United but saying nothing

He could have gone to Man U before now, were he that interested.

My guess is that it's Real Madrid or M.City, with PSG also a possibility. Faced with those three options, I'd say MU is a (distant) 4th choice.

It's not good for united that players managers no longer want to play/manage them due to their status. The longer united fall down this pecking order the harder it will be to reverse. Every passing year without champions league football will do massive damage too.

A bit like another giant, AC Milan (7 x times European Champions), who haven't played in the CL since 2013/14, indeed have only got past the Round of 16 once since 2006/07.

Although I can't find it now, Swiss Ramble analysed their recent figures and concluded they're a financial basket case, such that rather than buying players, they will soon have to sell to reduce their debt and avoid breeching FFP Rules. Currently 10th in Serie A, so unlikely to qualify for the CL next season, either.

And they've got that chancer Ivan Gazidis in charge, too.

Then they just need to box clever. Clever recruitment brought Mane, Firmino and Salah to Liverpool. Real Madrid or PSG weren't beating down the door for them. Players like that are out there. Thankfully United are moving away from buying the latest washed up big name looking for a payday

Knew United would struggle today.

Watching it in a hard core United bar in Salford.

It's gonna turn into the boozer from Shameless in a minute LOL
