Personally, I'm very happy with this move.
Another example of the powers that be at United showing they have no long term strategy and plan : Long may that continue.

First decent attempt of a managerial appointment by the Manchester United heiarchy since David Moyes. Yes Moyes didn’t work out but he was intended to be a long-term manager that would rebuild the squad, become immersed in the club and bring sustained long-term success. The problem was that he wasn’t an attacking manager so it was doomed. Manchester United then abandonned their principles in appointing short-term defensive managers like Van Gaal and Mourinho. Solskjaer has reminded them in the last few months what a Manchester United should be. Hopefully it continues and he is given time to make it work because his tactical knowledge and adaptability in games has impressed me the most! Ole is at the wheel!

Still think they should have waited until the summer before making any decision. Another appointment without a DoF in place, shows a lack of planning to me

Frustrating first half. United should taken their chances before gifting Wolves their equalizer.
Doherty getting into dangerous positions and playing well. Absolutely ridiculous that he's not a guaranteed starter for Ireland.
