Apparently United have lost 7 of their 11 CL matches under OGS.

Apparently Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the biggest win ratio of any manager in Manchester United's entire history.

The squad is definitely good enough to win/challenge for the league and champions league but have the worst Manager of the top 4. They may get to the LC or FA cup final by beating the easy teams (they have some firepower) but that’s it for this season with Ole.

Serious overaction to the loss, Ole's substitutions were questionable but if Wan Bissaka hadn't seen red United would've easily won.
A bad individual error led to the loss at the end of the day.

In fairness that's the type of situation where great managers earn their corn, and respond well. United had an exceptionally strong team on the pitch, and they had alternatives from the bench that they could have sprung, and didnt. How you reform after an early red card, and substitutions are the manager's remit. OGS has been given the sun, moon and stars, and that doesnt factor in the legacy spending which predates him getting the job. I struggle to think of a manager who has been afforded more advantages. I'm not saying they have to win every game or anything like that. But they have a large squad, full of excellent players, that if well managed could compete on all four fronts.

The most obviously out-of-his-depth manager in the Premier League. He treated a red card against Young Boys as if they had gotten a red card against Bayern Munich. A pathetic display of management. What followed was one of the worst halves of football United have played in the last decade (and that takes doing) - which was confounded by increasingly bizarre changes and a complete failure to correctly react to what was happening on the pitch. He stands out like a sore thumb, especially in comparison with 3 Champions League winning managers in Tuchel, Klopp and Guardiola and is clearly an ocean away from them in virtually all facets of management. I imagine if he had managed by now to win a trophy with United (especially with all the resources at his disposal - he seems to lose every time the game truly matters) or had a CV that didn't look more at place in League 1 - that less attention would be paid when they lost.

Ole’s subs were baffling last night. That aside, the attitude of the players mind boggling. No one rolled up sleeves and took leadership. It’s bad sign when Varane, Maguire and De Gea were time wasting with an hour gone. YB deserved the win. United management and players terrible attitude. Win nothing with talent you need serious work ethic too.

Solksjaer's biggest achievement is getting rid of most of the sh*t from the squad and replacing them with better players.
Young, Smalling, Darmien, James, Perreira, Sanchez, Rojo, Fellaini, Blind etc Replaced by the likes of Varane, Ronaldo, Sancho, Cavani, Fernandes and Maguire The thing is if they got in even a half decent manager they'd be a major threat given the squad they have accumulated now.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has the highest win per centage record of any Manchester United manager in history. He has also achieved that by turning over the mess of squad he inherited and by signing 17 teenagers to regenerate the academy. He is doing a brilliant job but the best of his work has yet to be seen as most of his best players are young and the teen talent such as those he stole from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City and Liverpool academies have yet to even step up to the first team. He's gonna be United manager for a long, long time. And those who can't see how great a job he has done (he has literally turned the whole atmosphere at the club around from the board, through to the training ground, through the dressing-room, through the supporters) only can't see it because their minds are too focused on the present. Ole is building for the future. If you can't see that, it's simply because you don't know enough about the great job he is doing.
