So hard to believe tis 30 years since Phil died.
I was a lot younger but still remember hearing of his death on the news and my Ma and my older brothers talkin about it.

I loved Thin Lizzy and still do.
I thought Gary Moore and the boys did a great tribute a few years back in the "One Night In Dublin" concert which I saw on Sky Arts.

I visited the National Wax Museum in Dublin for the first time back in late August, and there is an excellent waxwork of Phil playing his bass guitar-it looked so real.
His last fond wish had been fulfilled to lie in his native land, and the wild waves roll in peace again on the lonely Banna Strand.

I sure do,Gary....
I've sat there many a time on a visit to the capital with a pint of the black stuff, and looking at that brilliant work of art.I've heard about it being wrecked more than once by blackguards-those ****s will always be around and probably never caught.

I've also visited his grave in Sutton and left a little Irish tricolour there.
Just standing over the man's grave felt more than surreal.

If any of you Phil Lynott fans on here get a chance get your hands on the February edition of Classic Rock magazine.

Theres an eighteen page tribute to Philo going right back to the early days in Dublin up to the later days of the band.

Its a cracking read.
