Meh. A bit of a 1 hit wonder really with Supermarket Sweep.. I did think he'd be doing the reboot when it comes but obviously not now.

How many series did he last with Pets win Prizes and Hole in the Wall? Oh yeah he got dumped after the first in both and got replaced!

He ended up doing ads for pawnbrokers work dried up that much!

Hi didn't do the first series of Pet's Win Prizes : That was Danny Baker.
Don't get me wrong, outside of Supermarket Sweep I though the others were all sh*te but the fact that he was on prime time Saturday night for 14 years would indicate that he was probably more than a one hit wonder.

It's a fair point. Maybe because there wasn't anyone better at the time, I think Nick Knowles was far better at it.
It's been a while since I've actually watched BBC on a Saturday night so I honestly couldn't tell you who's doing it atm.

Don't forget he presented the National Lottery too every Saturday for donkeys years. I'd say he died a rich man. Prime Time television plus the constant re runs of Hole in the Wall and Supermarket Sweep on challenge

I was chatting to my mate about football when he suddenly said, "I once got a piggy back off Dale Winton."
Talk about going off on a tanned gent.
Lois: Peter, what did you promise me?
Peter: That I wouldn't drink at the stag party.
Lois: And what did you do?
Peter: Drank at the stag pa-- ... Whoa. I almost walked into that one.
