His brother was great in that movie Sleeping with the Enemy with Julia Roberts. Didn't know Patrick Bergin had a brother who was also an actor.

He probably didn’t know he had it himself which is the only plus point for dementia

The 30 for 30 doc on June 17th 1994 is a brilliant piece of TV.
Arnold palmers last round, World Cup kicking off, the oj Simpson car chase and New York rangers win the Stanley cup and Knicks are in the final against the Pistons in game five of final.  Also babe Ruth’s record is equalled in baseball.  Incredible day sport all set against the backdrop of the car chase shown live on TV. Great doc.

I was in the States when that car chase happened, had only landed that afternoon after boozing all the way over and had dozed off in the hotel room after a few in the bar when we got there. Woke up with the TV on and it was literally on every station you could put on. Even the NBA final that was on the same time had the chase in a little box in the corner of the screen. Was bizarre watching it.

It’s a brilliant documentary.

There’s another 5 part docuseries called OJ: Made in America that’s a great watch. Examines his upbringing against the backdrop of huge racial tension in the US and how it shaped his public persona as he became a household name.
