When I think of Ireland's truly great goals at major tournaments and in qualification over the past 30 years I can only hear George Hamilton's voice. Except for Robbie's against Germany in 2002.  John Motson's 'Just look at these scenes!' remains etched in my mind every time I watch that goal.

great great commentator.
Davies and Moore were more colourful, much more eloquent but motson was a fans commentator he loved football, top bloke too by all accounts. RIP.
