Damn. That leaves Kirk Douglas and Olivia De Havilland (both 102) as the only surviving big stars of the golden age of Hollywood.

Olivia De Havilland (both 102) as the only surviving big stars of the golden age of Hollywood.
I'd say she probably half expected to outlive Errol, but not by this much!
There can't be that many 74 year olds, like Michael Douglas, who still have both parents living. Edited by TonyNotJack - 13 May 2019 at 7:17pm |

In terms of the really big stars, pretty much. Angela Lansbury as well arguably; she made her film debut in the (inferior) US remake of Gaslight in 1944 . Strange how its title has become a common idiomatic expression in recent years. There's also Marsha Hunt and Norman Lloyd whose character famously fell from the Statue of Liberty in Hitchcocks Saboteur. He also appeared in Spellbound and Limelight.

Don't say she's dead, just say she's not available. Swimming with sharks reference.
