He was good in the underrated Miller's Crossing, playing an Irish-American gangster during Prohibition era. Loved his manic Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express. He was a big Man Utd supporter apparently.

Andrea Levy. Weirdly, I had just picked up a copy of 'Small Island' the other. Supposedly it is a masterpiece. She certainly had a big influence on the descendants of Windrush.
