Pity its not on on christmas day instead of the dublin continuous lap of honour

Only saw the other day that I've still got this on my sky plus from 09' - Out of their Hands - it was called. Good to look back on the highlights of the campaign even if we didn't qualify..

Decent enough show. I don't like the way Dunne was saying it was a good team performance for Russia away - it was a bad performance where he saved the day.

Also showed how be built up momentum for the Carling Cup games, Macedonia and Italy. But covered over the fact that we completely bottled it going into the Slovakia match. That was our chance to top the group but the team collectively didn't show up when they knew it was a great chance to automatically qualify. Anyway all's well that end's well.
67% points to games ratio at the last Euro's (better than Portugal's)

Whoever was in charge of the music played a blinder - Morrissey 'Let Me Get What I Want' when the play off draw was made and Blur to finish it off.

Felt sorry for the Dunne when he was recounting the story of being Booed at the Boxing match. Doesn't make us out to be good fans at all, as long as there's another sport doing well. Am glad those days are behind us hopefully.
