Bit late for him to switch from the wrestling to play for Everton.

Great to see SC play so well when he got on. He offered a lot of attacking threat.

made the winning goal by running into left flank and pulling defender with him which kept Bernard onside to score

I agree with MacMathuna, Coleman did well in the move for the goal

(Although Sigurdsson's brilliant ball probably had a bigger hand in making the goal)

supposedly he played well further up the field for Everton last night

I wonder is there a chance he plays there vs Serbia if he keeps it up

I wouldn't have thought so, Kenny seems tied to 4-3-3 and he isn't going to play Coleman anywhere else than right back in that formation

yeah for about 15 minutes he played right side of a front three, looked decent. Pity doherty looks so ordinary at spurs

It’s a bit ridiculous that under two managers we have tried Coleman and Doherty together on the right for about 45 minutes in total.  I am not saying its the answer but it’s not like we have brilliant alternatives in our squad.

I simply don't believe that Coleman and Doherty cant co-exist in the same team. It might involve pushing Doherty in at CB, or pushing Coleman further up the field, but I think good management would see a role for both of them, and exploit that potential. I don't have the answer, but I think it could be figured out.

I think Doherty at left back might be your answer there. What's the story with Stevens - no sign of him in Sheffield United squads these days? Doherty may well be needed there because I don't know where else we find a decent left back if Stevens is out.

Doherty would be about our 7th best centre back, well I'd guess anyway as nobody knows how he can play there including himself. What sense is there in undermining the only section of our team that functions reasonably well (apart from GK) so you can shoehorn Coleman and Doherty in to the same line up? If its not making our team stronger overall what's the purpose?

A lot of niggles this season, was out with his knee then initially then picked up few muscular injuries. Hes back in training at the moment and expected to be back available over the weekend.

I'm hoping it was tactical as Coleman only lasted 56 mins today. Seems to be out of favour at Everton.

Would be good to see him reestablish himself as the first choice right back again.

He looked alright in the bit I saw of the match. He hit the post in the first half with a good left foot shot.
