Finally got to see this last night, best Christmas movie you'll ever see I reckon and one of the best movies anytime for that matter.  Brilliant. Clap Cry

I watched it for the first time last year, timeless. Will give it another spin at the weekend.

Clark: Bend over and I'll show you.
Todd: You've got a lot of nerve talking to me like that Griswold.
Clark: I wasn't talking to you.

Clark: We're kicking off our fun old fashion family Christmas by heading out into the country in the old front-wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols.
Audrey: We're not coming all the way out here just to get one of those stupid ties with Santa Clauses on it are we?
Clark: No, I have one of those at home.

Uncle Lewis is so underrated in that movie. He arrives way too late in the movie.

Great call. The extra judicial beating Mel Gibson hands out to Gary Busey is something else. I never understood why the cops didn’t step in.

Surprised the writers didn't emphasise the Christmas aspect of the movie by having Gibson strangle Busey with the Christmas lights.

If you liked Bill Forsyth's films Local Hero and Gregory's Girl, then give Comfort and Joy a watch.

It's an ever so slightly surreal comedy drama about two families feuding over ice cream. I love it. Always watch it at his time of year.

Like McG, only saw it's a wonderful life for the first time last year. Watched it again last night and loved it even more on second viewing. Wonderful. Will be a staple from now on

Ticked off the list so far this year:

Elf
It's a Wonderful life
Die hard
Bad santa
National lampoon's

Watched home alone this year in the TF in Castlebar accompanied by a 100 piece live orchestra Clap what an experience

Klaus, new on netflix. Absolutely loved it. Will 100% become an annual watch. Check it out

Tonight: Scrooged

On the list

Home alone 2
Christmas Carol (Jim carey/Disney)
The man who invented Christmas

Not movies, but The Office and Ted Christmas specials are an absolute must! As well as Blackadder.
