Redeeming features? He's got awful teeth - he's refrained from having porcelain veneers like every other vain Hollywood f**k.

I will never understand Will Ferrell. Playground humour with no redeeming features, other than he seems an alright fella.
‘Uncle Buck’ was on last night. John Candy was brilliant at what he did.

Meh but I think it’s an age thing. Anybody born pre 90’s won’t get the hype.

National Lampoons.
A Charlie Brown Christmas from 1965 was a classic.

I must give this a watch. Gregory's Girl is a classic and Local Hero is one of the best films I've ever seen.

Just to be subversive, the original 1974 Black Christmas. Surely the best Christmas horror film. The remake is awful.

I don’t think censors were really interested in films like “it’s a wonderful life”.

I watched It's a Wonderful Life last night for the first time. It's a great movie, though I'm surprised something so obviously anti-capitalist was allowed to get past the censors for the time it was made.
