Last week twitter was full of Aussies saying stuff like, "if these are the second best team in the world I'm a flaming galah!"

This week, not so much.

Ireland should have won by 15 it was much more comfortable than the scoreline suggests.

That's a yuge commitment to pedantry there! Down to the pub at eleven in the morning , just to see which sport is being watched!

wasn’t down to the pub the first Saturday I was down shopping and all the pubs were shut. Yesterday I was at a food fair in the town I lived in for over 20 years and went in for a coffee as we had to wait while the dog was being groomed .
One City,One County,One Club GUFC will be back.

So are we going to win a World Cup now ? Is the Irish rugby fraternity the equivalent of the English national football supporter and media when it comes to the World Cup

Hard to say. If they win their pool (They probably should ) it'll probably  be the South Africans  in the QFs but they would be on opposite side to the All Blacks. It won't be easy either way as it'll be the ABs if they finish 2nd. They've had "easier" QFs at previous WC's and fallen at that fence. It's another 15 months out so not calling it just yet
