Still tired and boring. Along with the usual talking points that get wheeled out on here when the rugby team are doing well.

The Six Nations -

One of the teams has 13 Six Nations wins in 23 years. Their record literally reads 13 wins, 97 defeats and a draw. LOL

Another team has never won the Six Nations at all.

That leaves just four teams who have a chance, and you'll usually pick the winner from those depending on - which team has the best home/away schedule,  which teams are actually giving it 100 percent and not just trying stuff out, which teams aren't threatening to go on strike.

Even on a year by year basis, fans should be scratching their heads a bit at the supposed 'competitiveness' of this. Riveting stuff it is not.

If it wasn’t riveting, then the games wouldn’t sell out.

The games sell out because it's very important for little Jamie-Devereaux-McClusky and his buddies from Arthor Cox and KPMG to be seen at the Irish rugby. The selfie from the couch or pub really doesnt have the same clout on social media.

Yes, perhaps if the referee started telling the teams what to do it would be better. Hopefully we see the referee start to tell players when they can tackle and when they cant, when to play the ball. I find that stuff really exhilarating.

That’s not what I’ve been banging on about at all. Nobody has to celebrate.

The way rugby union is umpired could be an example to football referees and VAR.

Not sure I'd call it a scandal, but they have broken away from the rest of the pack in the Nations Cup, and have started clocking up test wins against traditionally bigger nations like Wales and Italy. Rather than a relegation play-off, admission just makes more sense.

The Aviva is sold out this weekend for Leinster v Ulster in a round of 16 game. They're doing something right anyway.
